Krzysztof Wladyka (pronounced Kris-tauv Vlad-ick-uh) was born in 1980 in Olawa (Poland) where he currently lives and works. He is a self-taught photographer who discovered the medium of photography in 2006. Wladyka's works have been exhibited in Poland, the United States and in Cambodia during the 2011 Angkor Photo Festival. The “Animalies” series has received many awards including an International Photography Award (IPA) in 2010.

Wladyka’s photographs are full of symbols, signs, and fragments of living nature, as well as strange props which are combined within the square frame. They are characterized by pure forms, vivid colours and impeccable composition. His unique style is inspired by the observation of reality as well as his experiences, thoughts, meanings, emotions and energy.
